Hi everyone! I'm so happy that u all liked the poem video. I know u all have been waiting for me to post my pictures & poems. I have a poem that I think you would all enjoy. I wrote it about a month ago all by myself, it goes like this...
Spring is Finally Here
Spring is finally here
All the animals give out a loud cheer
All the animals give out a loud cheer
The bears don't need to hibernate
For now it's time to celebrate!
For now it's time to celebrate!
Now that all the snow is gone-
Look, a deer had a baby fawn!
The spring flowers are so colorful
that they look like a rainbow on the ground
Imagine fish in the deep blue sea
with their colorful fins-
With animals known for their skills, fur, teeth and grins.

wow sierra! you are an amazing poet! my favorite line was:
"The spring flowers are so colorful
that they look like a rainbow on the ground"
you have the eye of a true artist! love you honey.
Hi Sierra,
Greg and I went for a walk today.I looked down by your house and I'm sure I saw you playing on the sidewalk and I thought to myself, "Ah, SPRING is here!"
And...what a nice poem to go with it!!
love, marcia
PS...did you break down and wear shorts today?

Cool Poem Sierra! I love Spring time---especially when sddnow melts!
You should try and scan some of your art work for us to see!
The "rainbow on the ground" metaphor was brilliant Sierra. Only a girl from the cold Northland could express such joy over spring coming!
No longer any need to hibernate. IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE! Your poem helped me do that. Thanks for sharing it Sierra. Keep it up!
Beautiful poetry my dear. Thank you for coming to my purse party. It was so fun to hear you and Steph cracking up making funny faces with her computer. She showed them to me and we were laughing so hard. Hurry up and scan your drawings so I can show them off to me friends.
Smooches,
Tina
wow this poem is so full of life Sierra! from the snow is gone! (yes!!) to the baby fawn to the colorful rainbow on the ground seeing all that new growth everywhere (yipee!) then you take us quick to the deep blue sea (I especially love that transition) so refreshing and free to imagine and just be!
big grins!
with all the animals and their unique skills we praise God it is Spring! and your poem captures all of that and fills our hearts up like a wellspring!
I think I'll go paly in the yard and give our hastas and lillies more air to breathe!
the hastas and lilies
and robins are bummin'
but they know that they know
that they know summer's comin'
so don't be too sad at the rain wind and snow
don't worry don't fuss
cuz God keeps his promise
to them and to us
the clouds will soon clear
spring is still here
and summer is near!
just wanted to send you a little cheer Sierra!
yeah!
beautiful poem sierra. i love spring but the last week or so i think it's decided to sleep in for a while longer!
brrrrrrrrrrrr
I don't think it's spring Sierra. Can you come up with a, "Well...one day we had spring and now it's winter again" poem?
;-)
Hi Seirra,
It's been two weeks -- and your admiring fans (like me) are waiting.
"WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE!!"
It doesn't have to be a poem (that that's always wonderful). You could just tell us about what you're learning in school. Or you could tell us about how weird your mom is. Or maybe you want to talk about how cool your pastor is. :-)
You can talk about anything really.
Just know that...
"WE WANT MORE!!!"
Love ya
