This is my first time ever making a blog. My mom helped me set it up and I am very excited to get comments from other people who see my blog.
I am very interested in poems and art and singing. I would like to post my poems and artwork for all my friends to see.
What's new? I am a little nervous because I am saying a poem that I memorized in school to about 50 people this Friday.
Highlight of the Week: I can hardly wait for Easter tomorrow!
Prayer request: A new student in my class will feel welcomed in my school.

Wow Seirra, how many third graders have their own blog? This is incredible! I really look forward to reading your poems, seeing your art work and whatever else you post.
You know, though many people don't realize it,"uncle Greg" happens to be quite an accomplished poet -- if I do say so myself. Here's one I composed for this special occasion. It's called "I dare ya."
There's no one
like my good friend Seirra
Try to think of
anyone so cool
I just dare ya!
Heh? Not bad is it? :-)
You're the sweetest girl in the whole world Seirra. I'm already a fan of your blog!
Write away!!!!
Greg

Hi Seirra,
Well, your poem recital is only three days away. Are you nervous? If you are, here's something that helps me when I get nervous about speaking in front of a lot of people.
Get in your room all by yourself, close your eyes and imagine the room you'll be speaking in filled with all the people you'll be speaking to. Then, with your eyes still closed, practice saying your poem as you imagine them. Practice being relaxed, smiling, saying your lines full of confidence. Imagine the people smiling and clapping for you. Do this until you no longer feel nervous.
Then, when you get up on Friday to recite your poem, it'll be a piece of cake -- cuz you've already done it a bunch of times!
You'll be a SUPERSTAR! I just know it!
Greg
i really love your blog sierra. what a beautiful soul you are.
i will pray for your friend too and cannot wait to hear your poems!
blessings sweetheart (i know your mom and these other friends commenting here so i'm not just some random lady creeping in on your blog....i just love it here already!)
Hello Sierra
I hope the other Tina in your life has felt very welcome - it is very cool she has brown hair and brown eyes too. Just remember to find out if Sierra Ross is also HER favorite, blonde 3rd grade girlie... then we would be a perfect match... except I am funnier.
Your poem is so good and it will be the hit of the recital.
Remind me to sing you the song Stef and I wrote about Taylor when he was in 3rd grade... it has to do with him feeding his armpits cheese-its (it sorta rhymes)
Love you bunches
Tina (the funnier one)
Hi Sierra! You are by far the coolest 3rd grader I know, and most grown up for suer. I have never even had a blog, or written on one or whatever... I'm impressed. Your pictures are super cute! I hope you had a great easter! See you later, Alisha
Hey Sierra, I love your blog and am so proud of you for having one. I tried to comment on your blog but it wouldn't let me. I can't wait to see your art and read your poems. Love, Grandma Bonnie

Love you!

Hii Sierra,
It was great to listen to your poem again from your blog. I had fun going to your school and hearing you in person. I have had trouble trying to send you notes on your blog but now the settings are different. We'll have to see if this works.
Love,
Grandma Bonnie
